At Unboxed, we are committed to providing complete peace of mind when you shop with us. Every product purchased through our website includes a 12-month Unboxed Warranty, in addition to your full statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Under UK law, all goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality, and fit for their intended purpose. Responsibility for meeting these standards always rests with us as the retailer, not the manufacturer.
Nothing in this policy limits or affects your statutory rights.

The Consumer Rights Act 2015 protects you in relation to:

These rights apply to all purchases made through our website.
30-Day Right to Reject
If your item is faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose, you have the legal right to reject it within 30 days of delivery.
During this period, you are entitled to a full refund to your original payment method. You must notify us as soon as you become aware of the issue.
Within the first 30 days, you may choose either:
- A full refund, or
- A repair or replacement
After the initial 30 days, the automatic right to a refund no longer applies.
Online Orders – 14-Day Cancellation
All Unboxed purchases are made online. You may cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your item without giving a reason.
To exercise this right, you must notify us by email within 14 days of delivery. Items must then be returned within a further 14 days in the same condition as supplied.
Once the item is received, we will refund:
- The full purchase price, and
- The cost of standard outbound delivery
Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving the returned item or proof of return.
Please note that cancellations cannot be accepted for unsealed software, games, or media.
Faults Within the First Six Months and Warranty Period
If a fault develops within the first six months, consumer law may treat the fault as having been present at the time of delivery unless this can be shown otherwise. In addition, our 12-month Unboxed Warranty gives customers added support for eligible faults during the warranty period.
Where the 30-day period has passed:
- We are entitled to make one attempt to repair or replace the item.
- If that repair or replacement is unsuccessful, you are entitled to a full refund.
This forms the basis of your Unboxed Warranty.
Repairs and Replacements
After the initial 30-day period, you must allow us one opportunity to repair or replace the item.
You may state a preference for a repair or replacement. However, Unboxed reserves the right to determine the most appropriate remedy in line with your legal rights.
All returned items are tested and any fault verified before action is taken. Repairs may be carried out by an approved third-party specialist.
Returns
All returned items must:
- Be accompanied by valid proof of purchase, and include all original items supplied, such as cables, accessories, manuals, and packaging where applicable
Items will be tested before any refund, repair, or replacement is issued.
Delivery
We are responsible for your order until it is in your possession or delivered to a safe place you nominate.
If you authorise delivery to a neighbour or a designated safe place, responsibility passes to you once delivery has been made. In these circumstances, we cannot be held liable for loss or theft.
If your order is not delivered within 30 days, or by an agreed delivery date, you are entitled to cancel your purchase and receive a full refund.
Warranty Exclusions
The Unboxed Warranty does not cover:
- Physical or liquid damage
- Damage caused by rooting, jailbreaking, or unauthorised modification
- Removable covers, including battery covers, lens caps, and port covers
- Single-use codes, such as software, game activation, or subscription codes
- Software or applications installed on devices
- Damage caused by misuse, neglect, accidents, improper installation, or unauthorised repair
- Consumable parts, such as batteries, after 30 days on used devices
Batteries are tested prior to sale. However, as consumable components, batteries in pre-owned devices are not covered beyond 30 days.
Please ensure that all personal data is backed up and removed before returning any device. Unboxed cannot accept responsibility for data loss.
