These answers cover what refurbished means at Unboxed, how grading works, and what customers can expect from devices before they are shipped.
No. Unboxed products are pre-owned, restored, or refurbished depending on the item type. Every product is carefully inspected, professionally tested where relevant, and prepared for resale before it is listed.

For our tech products, refurbished means the item has been checked, cleaned, tested, and restored to full working order. This can include replacing worn parts, updating software, and making sure the product performs as it should.
The goal is to give quality devices a second life without compromising on everyday performance.
Condition grades mainly describe the cosmetic appearance of an item. A higher grade usually means fewer visible signs of use, while lower grades can show more wear.
Whichever grade you choose, the product is still checked for functionality and listed with a clear condition label so you can shop with confidence.
Battery performance is checked as part of our refurbishment process so each compatible device is ready for dependable daily use.

All smartphones sold by Unboxed are unlocked unless clearly stated otherwise on the product page. Devices are reset, cleared of previous accounts, and ready to set up when they arrive.

Orders are processed quickly and dispatched from the UK. Once your order ships, we will send tracking details so you can follow the delivery journey.
Standard Delivery is usually estimated at 2-4 business days. Express Delivery is usually estimated at 1-3 business days. Exact options and costs are shown at checkout.

If an item develops a fault within that period that is not caused by accidental damage or misuse, we will repair, replace, or refund it in line with your rights under UK consumer law.
Yes. If you change your mind, you can request a return within 14 days of delivery.
If your item is faulty or there is an issue with it, please contact us within 30 days so we can help with the next steps. Change-of-mind returns should be sent back in the same condition, while faulty items are handled separately in line with our returns policy.
